“I stayed here and, if I’m honest, I wish I hadn’t. Throughout our stay, we could hear a dog barking in a nearby room. When we asked about it, no one seemed to take responsibility. We were only told they had an idea who it might be, and that the hotel allows pets. I have a dog myself, so I’m normally very pet-friendly, but this was different — the dog was barking and howling whenever it was left alone in the room. We were given no explanation or gesture of goodwill. From what I gathered, it seems the hotel rents some rooms to long-term residents or to people coming in from other parts of Barcelona for extended stays. Unfortunately, this completely spoiled my holiday. I was woken up early in the morning and kept awake at night by the distressed dog. I definitely would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.”
