“We had a good 5-night stay at Novotel! The location is unbeatable—right in the city center, close to the train station, with taxis readily available and everything within easy reach. The rooftop pool, bar, and restaurant were fantastic, and the breakfast offered a great variety of fresh, delicious food in a lovely setting. We also really appreciated being given a room with a beautiful city view at no extra charge. The staff were attentive when approached. The rooms were incredibly quiet thanks to the excellent soundproofing, making for a very restful night's sleep. A special thank you to Kauther at the rooftop restaurant. She was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and made our stay even more enjoyable with her warm hospitality. Unfortunately, our booking was mistakenly canceled upon arrival. However, the manager handled the situation professionally and resolved it in no time. The following night, there was a power outage that lasted almost two hours, which was beyond the hotel's control. It was quite stressful, especially since the reception did not answer the phone despite several attempts. I reported this to the manager the next morning, and once again she was incredibly kind, understanding, and offered us a complimentary dinner as an apology, which we truly appreciated. I have to say that the worst part about Novotel was that the rooms are VERY small for a family of four and feel VERY outdated. The bathroom needs renovation, the water pressure was very weak, the drain was slow, the toilet garbage bin was broken and fan did not work, and the room phone cable kept disconnecting. Although the beds were comfortable, the overall cleanliness could be improved. Finally, some of the cafeteria staff were not very friendly, and it was often difficult to reach reception by phone because the hotel seemed extremely busy, which was frustrating at times. My suggestion for them is to hire more staff give how busy this hotel is.”
