“We booked for a relaxing night away and the hotel room was large, very clean and comfortable and with a fantastic shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. Nice swimming pool and outside area, but oh dear, the restaurant service was an utter disaster. The long long wait for service was explained as being caused by the kitchen only having one member of staff on duty as Mondays are usually quiet 🤫. When it arrived, the food was good quality but as a dinner experience it failed badly. The waiting staff were in a difficult position but remained polite throughout. That apart, we would stay again but not dine. As others have said, the breakfast offering was very good.”
