“The location of the hotel is its best asset. Located a one minute walk away from the ticket office for the ancient sites, and with a front row view of the desert and newly discovered golden city. The valley of the queens, Habu temple, memnon, ramesseum, tombs of the workers, along with many ancient palaces are all walking distance away. It’s quiet and peaceful both day and night. At night it can seem dark or secluded if it is your first time, but as a female solo traveller I felt safe at all times. The owner Refat is very kind and helpful to ensure you have a pleasant trip. Also, the breakfast is fantastic! I enjoyed most taking a bicycle along the relatively quiet mountain roads with constant views of ancient temples, tombs, statues, and palaces as I rode along. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel in a good location for the ancient sites, and who wants a quiet peaceful experience The dogs in the street at night, but it did not take away from the amazing experience I had at this place”
