“The apartment is located on the tenth floor of an old, tired, unsightly building that is scary to enter in the middle of the night. You take the elevator to the apartment, which is very old and you have a hard time deciding to enter it. We were welcomed in the middle of the night by a very friendly host who cleaned the dirty toilet at our request. The room I booked was not available because someone else was in it, so there was no view. The host brought us basic breakfast to the terrace at the top of the building, where there was a truly beautiful view of the museum and the pyramids. You can get to the museum on foot, but despite the museum being very close, you have to walk for about 20 minutes because you can't cross the fenced road - there is no passage, overpass or underpass.”
