“The staff here are amazing. They really care about your experience and go above and beyond to take care of you. Great location in the old city. Walk to everything and tours will pick up and drop off from here. Lovely old well-maintained property with loads of charm and beautiful views from the public shared terraces. Great breakfast if you are not leaving too early for the breakfast start time of 730am. Staff will make coffee to go if you are leaving too early for breakfast. Reading lights and sockets by beds. Good hot water. I actually stayed here again on my way back through Quito and will come back here in the future. Very secure once inside the front door. Don't stay in the front rooms on the street side as it is unbelievably noisy. I first was in the loft which is an amazing space but impossible to sleep in due to the noise and vibration from the street. They let me move rooms after the first disastrous night thankfully but were unable to offer a discount for the lesser expensive rooms as I had booked the loft for three nights.”
