“This hotel was nice and the added bonus of the homemade breakfast each morning (someone literally came into the room to make it for us!) was a great personal touch. We had the large suite on the top floor, so I'm not sure that applies to all rooms, but we appreciated it very much. The building is old (of course!) but the rooms were very comfortable and well cared for. The shower is super tiny, but-once I figured out how to work it-it did get very hot! The balcony was the best part of the room, with floor-to-ceiling windows leading out to it. One block away was a street with several nice restaurants (we tried them all) and there are delicious pizzas and chicken wings to be had if you are so inclined. The Grand Plaza is about a 15 minute walk away. And David and Margaret were especially nice and helpful-we enjoyed being with them very much!”
