“Location was OK for further travel, but the town itself is totally dead and dull. At 9pm on Saturday night we could not find a single place that was open for a drink. The night club next door was locked and when we looked through the windows, it looked as though someone had been murdered there. Bottles all over the floor, white powder on the flor. Crime scene? Dead party? Weird. The hotel lacks a common lounge - a cozy corner where one can sit for a while, meet other people, rather than being confined to the room. Closing the dining hall at 8pm is plain ridiculous. Most Europeans eat dinner around 7.30pm. We felt rushed and again, on Saturday, the entire place was closed. Service was very good - waiter in the dining room was very fast and fun and the food came fast and was OK - not fabulous. Breakfast was fine - everything we needed. For over 100 Euro a night we did expect a little more, though. This is a basic, clean, comfortable hotel with NO extras. The duvets on the bed are very thin. I had to use the extra blanket. The towels are also very thin and small...not enough for two adults for two nights. The carpet in the hallway looks scruffy - needs an upgrade. Duvets. Towels. Dining closing too early. No lounge.”
