“Had a big room with a balcony. Clean . Pool was nice. Has spa area but did not use it. Centally located to explore the town and monastry. Plenty of parking. Arrived on motorbike and parking next to hotelfelt secure. Bathroom ok. Arrived at 3pm . Small queue at reception...waited 20 mins to check in. Frustrating after hot long journey. Receptionist knew we could not speak much German, she spoke and understood english, but spoke to us in german?! The hotel staff do not communicate. We had half board option and receptionist told us dinner was at 6pm. No flexibility to change. So we went to restaurant later to try and change time. Begrugingly it was changed to 7pm....then when we arrived it was very quiet...but got busy at 8pm. Very odd . In addition barman did not know if we could take our drinks down to the terrace? It seems that staff in different areas of hotel dont talk to each other. Not a cheap place to stay. Food very average for evening meal. Expected better. Would not stay here again”
