Relais & Chateaux Hotel Hohenhaus

The Hotel Hohenhaus, originally built as a manor house in the 16th century, now offers comfortable rooms furnished with hand-picked antiques, the finest fabrics and marble bathrooms, with uninterrupted views of the Blutbuchental or the Lindenhof. Original works of art are on display throughout the hotel, including works by the Austrian expressionist Oskar Kokoschka and handmade tapestries from the famous 17th century "Manufacture nationale des Gobelins". Renovation work has been underway in our historic castle building since 2022, meaning that we will have a total of 40 rooms and various wellness suites in the future. A sauna, an indoor pool, a tennis court and an extensive library with a reading corner by the open fireplace are available for relaxation. Our guests can hike and enjoy nature on 1600 hectares of the hotel's own forest.
