This is the only hotel located close to the turtle refuge at Ostional Beach, situated 1.3 km from the refuge on a hilltop surrounded by a private nature reserve, and located between the villages of Playa Ostional and San Juanillo. The centre of Ostional with its restaurants and bars can be found around 3 km away, whilst the bus station and shopping outlets in Nosara are around a 20-minute drive from the hotel. The establishment is a boutique hotel built in a neo-colonial style full of the pacific colours of red, yellow and blue. The spectacular main lobby opens on to the jungle, offering ocean views. There are gourmet restaurants, a tropical bar, a café and a 24-hour reception at the hotel. Guests can leave their valuables at the hotel safe. Wireless Internet access is provided, as is a laundry service and a car park where guests may leave their vehicles. The colourful en suite bungalows come with individually regulated air conditioning, ceiling fans, a huge open terrace offering total privacy, outdoor showers with an amazing jungle feeling, plus king-size beds and a sofa-bed which opens out to a double bed. A hairdryer is also provided, as is a safe and a mini fridge. Recreational amenities include a huge outdoor swimming pool with hot tub on the terrace with views over the surrounding nature reserve to the ocean. Sun loungers and parasols are provided, and for an additional fee guests can enjoy rebalancing massages at the health centre. Guests can also relax at the nearby sandy and rocky beach, whilst fans of the fairway can tee off at the golf course located around an hour's drive from the hotel at Hacienda Pinilla. Breakfast is served in the morning and dinner can be taken à la carte.
