“What a great place! We are birders and the hotel surprised us with having so many different birds visiting the area down from the balcony of our room, including toucans and guans! If you are a birder this a must stay and enjoy the wealth of birds from your room. Apart from that the food from the restaurant is excellent and the portions huge. Breakfast was typical Tico and wonderful as well. Just a minor thing was that there was no chair or table in the room to place our phones, laptop, medication on, but we took one of the chairs that was on the (very narrow) balcony and used it as table. Worked well.”
