“Great location on the beach away from the village, large property with room and villas well spread out. It is a picture perfect place, long beach, palm trees, well maintained property, great food by the artists in the kitchen (extremely well done, fresh, tasty, innovative, but comes with a price). The team is super friendly and welcoming. If you look for secluded and comfortable days on the beach as a stopover on the way further east, that is it. The resort was awesome (you pay for the location, though), but not sure what the attraction of Palomino is. Strand is mainly washed away and only a small strip remains, in places it was quite dirty, stabilisation structures make a beach walk challenging. As it is a sand beach open to the sea, water is not as clear as around Santa Marta and the Toyona NP.”
