“We stayed here for 2 nights because it is very near to the Terracotta soldiers' site and Huashang as compared to staying at the city. This allowed us to arrive early at the Terracotta soldiers' site in the morning before the crowds came. Getting a hail ride (didi) was not difficult nor expensive. We also went to watch the life performance "Song of Everlasting Sorrow" (a must watch!) and after the show, just hail the taxi from the roadside for like 20 yuan and you are back at the hotel in less than 15 minutes. Huashang was slightly more than 1 hour's ride away via good highway roads. We also used hail grab (didi). This resort is spacious and beautiful. Staff were all very friendly and you are greeted by all working there. The room was large with a balcony facing the courtyard and the bathroom area is huge with double sinks. A great value stay indeed! The only negative we encountered is that the breakfast food was not up to par for a 5 star resort like this. The food, both Western and Chinese, were basic. There are also some fun facilities for children within the resort. We did not go to the hot springs (extra fee payable) due to time constraints. I would highly recommend a stay here.”
