“We recently stayed at the InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort, and it is an excellent choice for families. The swimming pools are fantastic and highly enjoyable for children, but the absolute highlight of the resort is the beautiful private beach. The hotel rooms are also a very decent and comfortable size. A couple of areas could be improved for a better guest experience. First, we wish there were more poolside food and drink selections tailored for international travelers. It is not easy for overseas guests to order via Meituan, so having more robust in-house options would be a huge plus. Second, the check-in process took a long time. While I understand the hotel was running a full house, management should anticipate these peak periods in advance by allocating more staff or offering alternative check-in arrangements. On the bright side, we were allowed to spend time at the pool while waiting for our room to be ready, which made the wait much more pleasant.”
