“I chose this hotel because it's affordably near to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC), which was the main reason for my trip. The hotel is a 10 minutes walk from both Shanghai Zoo and Shanghai Zoo Metro Station. The metro station is convenient, but getting to the city center still takes a bit of time and requires a line transfer. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The biggest surprise was the smart toilet—I definitely wasn't expecting that, and I loved it! There's also a laundry room with washers and dryers for guests to use. I was lucky enough to arrive on the day they replaced all the machines, so I got to use a brand-new set. One thing to note is that there's no iron in the room; you'll need to uron your clothes in the laundry room instead. Breakfast was decent and had enough options to start the day. On the walk to the metro station, there's a small halal eatery along a street lined with fruit stalls, local convenience stores, and other small shops, which was quite convenient. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel if you're planning to go to the zoo or attending an event at the NECC. Nothing much, but I would love it if I can iron clothes in the room instead 🤭”
