“We had a lovely 4 nights stay at the Four Seasons Hangzhou. The property itself is beautiful, especially the garden, which is peaceful and well maintained. That said, the rooms, pool, and gym feel like they are due for an update. On our first day checking in, there were mosquitoes in the room, and we had to request mosquito repellent, which the staff kindly provided. What truly made the stay enjoyable was the service. The staff were consistently super helpful and kind throughout our visit. The reception team was attentive and supportive whenever we needed assistance. A special mention goes to Sarah at the kids’ club—she was excellent. Our children went to the kids’ club every day and always came back talking about how much they enjoyed their time with her. She really made a difference in our stay. During the daytime, there was also a lovely cultural touch, with a lady playing traditional Chinese music daily. In addition, the hotel offers activities such as Chinese calligraphy and tea ceremony demonstrations, which were very interesting and well presented to guests. Overall, while some facilities could use upgrading, the beautiful surroundings, cultural experiences, and outstanding staff made our stay very memorable.”
