“Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. What made our experience 10+ was the staff. We were allowed to get in the breakfast room couple minutes early when we needed to catch an early flight in the morning. In my past experience, some other hotels made us wait until the clock actually struck 6am. Nothing wrong with following rules and we can wait the two minutes. But the stuff here really show their compassion and kindness. When I requested a faster WIFI access for a virtual meeting, IT staff was sent to room to assist in an hour. There was faster WIFI access given to the room immediately. Unfortunately the hotel VPN has some conflict with my work VPN which significantly impact WIFI speed. I could not have my virtual meeting in the hotel, but move to other location. It is not the hotel’s fault. I had stayed in other 5 star hotels in Guangzhou, and this was the first time I had a VPN issue. I hope they can use other VPN as I really like to come back again.”
