“Just a ten minute easy walk from the train station. Facilities were excellent with a wonderful breakfast. French was not a language any of us spoke, and there was only one English speaking member of the staff that we encountered but that made no difference as all were SO friendly and helpful (as was Google translate :) ). Close to restaurants and both COOP & MIgros groceries and the charming old town of Romont is a short but uphill walk away. Bus stop is nearby; note that before the bus takes you to the old town the routing goes "backwards" to a central station where one changes a bus to go back to the old town. Very doable, just research your travel. Romont is a beautiful place with the friendliest of residents. Lots to do--just visit the well equipped (and also friendly staffed) information center near the castle/Vitro Museum. Left many things unseen in Romont, would like to go back. All was super!”
