“Excellent central location, quiet, bed OK The room was dirty (and smelly) on arrival and was only cleaned twice in two weeks (once on my last day!) The kitchenette didn't have : plates, forks, spoons etc !!! The TV didn't work...I had to get batteries for the control Every traveller is supposed to receive a free local travel pass: I didn't get it : people pay for it in the booking and it is the responsibility of the hotel to give it to guests on their day of arrival. A daily pass costs CHF 10, or about $ 11... which I had to pay out of my own pocket! The owner / manager ́never showed up...there was nobody on the premises I could talk to! I had asked to be on the lower level due to my age and recent surgery...it turned out I had to climbed 4 steep and narrow stairs. No elevator because it is an old building . In the city which boast the world famous Ecole hôtelière, this lack of hospitality it is rather disturbing . Not the Switzerland I used to know.”
