“The location was great, with spectacular views into the valley and conveniently situated between the gondola stops going up and down the mountain. It was close to many nice restaurants and attractions. The room patio/balconies had the most amazing views and were perfect for a cool breeze. The hotel was very pet friendly and it was easy to take the dogs out for a walk when we woke up and before we went to bed. Breakfast was simple eggs, bacon, meats, cheese, bread, yoghurt spread buffet, but the quality of everything provided was excellent. The extensive road construction made parking difficult and the surroundings in front of the hotel quite dusty. Besides the view and breakfast everything else was budget quality. The pillows were small, towels thin and too few, TV the size of a small laptop, and the biggest disappointment was the staff. They were terse, didn't offer much information when asked, took forever to check people out, and were weird about pushing the hotel restaurant. The hotel price would be high end anywhere else except Switzerland, where I think this is the affordable option.”
