“Close to highway for a stop en route to Ottawa from Nova Scotia. GPS might take you off the highway early which makes it seem like it is a long way (15 mins from highway) or the short way (just a few mins from the highway). Can't say if overall it makes any difference as the roads run parallel. Nice basic motel with free parking. Staff friendly and helpful. Basic breakfast included. There is a restaurant on site and there was an awful smell like cooked onions in the hallways and room itself which mostly cleared by morning. We didn't get to try the restaurant as it was closing at 9pm. The rooms were fine but could benefit from attention to minor maintenance (loose toilet seat; broken security latch on the room door). Pool seems to have been out of use for a long time. Self-serve breakfast options are very basic and there are no signs to indicate they do offer additional options (a member of staff will arrive if you wait).”
