“We had a truly wonderful experience at Pink Sands. We stayed for 8 nights in the Oceanfront Cottage which is so lovely and you can walk right down to the stunning beach. It was perfect for our family - 2 br and we brought my mom and my 10 month old baby. While baby napped, we were able to relax on the deck. There's so much to do on the island between shopping, boat trips, dining & drinks.. it's the opposite of the type of vacation where you're trapped at the resort. The dinner & breakfast restaurants at the hotel are so lovely and were so accommodating for our baby. One quick note is that service at the hotel could be slightly improved - I think they were a little understaffed, so one morning the room service took a really long time, they didn't have an espresso machine working for a few days, etc. Though I'm of the mind that if you are coming to Harbour Island you should be able to chill and go with the island vibes - its not a corporate type of place where everything is perfect but that's also part of the charm. That being said - there were also moments where the service was exceptional and had such a warm, personal touch. The guys who do food and drink service at the pool and beach were so lovely and attentive, and at times it was nice that they sort of leave you alone and aren't hovering. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we are eager to return!”
