“Great view from the room, nice size pool and working AC. Host was kind but no one warned us to call before we arrive as they have no permanent staff on site, so we had to wait 10min until someone came and opened for us. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently at all ☹️ Dead bugs on the floor, super dusty and old hair in the bathroom drain. Also, the balcony hadn’t been swept at all. This definitely made the stay not so pleasant as my allergies flared up from the excessive amount of dust in the room and just a general feeling of being grossed out and uncomfortable. Makes you question what else hasn’t been cleaned recently. For the price we paid, cleaning with a hoover before having guests stay over is the minimum requirement for decent hospitality. Also, we were alone for the majority of the time but when the cleaner came in the morning we realised how noisy it is if there are other people as the house is old, with wooden floors which creak really loudly.”
