“Excellent location close to the Chateau where we had the event. Good size room, with double bed. Umbrella to borrow. Service was not amazing. Upon arrival, the hotel was closed and it took quite a while after we rang the bell before someone came down. When returning from the castle in the afternoon to pick something up from my room, i realized i left my roomkey at the chateau, and staff was quite difficult about getting me a new keycard. She actually asked if I could not just walk back up the Chateau to get the keycard.. And said the effort of 'configuring' a new keycard was quite a hassle.. It surprisingly turned into a bit of a debate, which felt very odd to say the least.. At breakfast, our friend was not allowed to sit at our 4 person table (which we occupied with the 2 of us) because there was no cutlery and plate set up.. When she wanted to take the table next to us (set up for 2), she was also not allowed to sit there, but instead was directed to a table in the back corner, which was set-up for 1-person.. Meaning we could not speak to our friend over breakfast.. And all this while the 3 of us were the only ones in the entire breakfast room...”
