“We had a very pleasant stay at Numa Lief. Communication before arrival was clear and efficient, and both check-in and check-out were seamless. Everything operates via pin code, the entrance, lift, and room doors which made us feel extremely safe and secure throughout our stay. The location is excellent. It’s just a 3 minute walk from Anneessens metro station, and around a 10 minute walk to the city centre with shops, attractions, and the famous Manneken Pis fountain. Very convenient for exploring without needing constant transport. Our fourth floor room was spacious and well equipped. Amenities included a safe, coffee machine with pods, tea, complimentary chocolate, and bottled water. We especially appreciated the individual toiletries, bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion, which felt like a thoughtful touch rather than an afterthought. There were just a few minor drawbacks. One of the complimentary water bottles had already been used, and unfortunately the refrigerator didn’t function despite the internal light being on and adjusting the temperature dial. The bin in the room was also very small, and the lid was quite awkward to use. On the plus side, there’s a free gym, laundromat, and microwave in the basement (-2 level), which would be particularly useful for longer stays. We occasionally heard conversations and plumbing noises late at night, but it was minor and didn’t disturb our sleep. Overall, a comfortable, secure, and well located base in Brussels with practical amenities. With a few small improvements, it would be excellent.”
