“The location is within walking distance of major attractions. Rooms are spacious and the beds are quite comfortable. There was both a fridge and a safe in the room, and plenty of storage space. The place looks quite tired. The bathrooms aren't to a great standard, or especially clean, and our air conditioning was noisy. Opting for the alternative of opening a window, there was a lot of noise from the street. Most of the staff were unengaging. When we arrived, the receptionist's key objectives appeared to be collecting the visitor tax and dissuading us from having the room cleaned during our stay. It didn't feel like much of a welcome. When the room was cleaned, the towels weren't changed. Ironically, the best part of the experience was checking out. Sander, was warm and engaging, but quite the exception.”
