“Location- restaurants staff were very helpful and friendly I would like to express my disappointment with the way my reservation was handled during my stay at Opal Hotel. My booking was confirmed for a Deluxe River View Twin room. However, upon arrival I was assigned rooms overlooking the parking area instead of the river. When I raised the issue with the front desk, I was told that all river view rooms were occupied and that I might be moved the following day. The next day, another staff member informed me that the hotel does not have Deluxe River View Twin rooms at all. This directly contradicted the information provided at the time of booking. I was also told that the manager could not understand English, despite the fact that the same staff member had been communicating with me in English throughout our conversation. This gave me the impression that I was not being provided with honest and transparent information. As a guest, I expected the hotel to honor my confirmed reservation or, at the very least, provide a clear explanation and an appropriate solution. Unfortunately, neither happened, and the inconsistent responses from the staff made the experience even more disappointing. I hope the hotel reviews this matter and improves its reservation process and customer service so that future guests do not experience the same situation.”
