“The location is lovely and the view from our room on the balcony was fantastic. The hotel is old and the rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable The breakfast was a surprise and very enjoyable The shower was hot and the room supplied all the necessities, including bath robes. We brought our bikes, and rode up to mount Kosciusko. What a view! There is no onsite parking, so you had to walk a long way to the main parking areas, but luckily it was for free. We were in the top room and there were 60 stairs to get there. The staff were not helpful with activities to do, they didn’t suggest anything for us, and when asked were unsure. There was very little open in the town when we were there, and once in Thredbo, everything is very expensive.”
