“After having an "average" experience in April, we returned for our Anniversay in October and to visit the Aurora Spa. We love the spa and have vowed to make more frequent visits in 2026 and spend the night at the hotel. In April we discussed with Bruce, the duty manager, some of the things that werent hitting the mark for 5 Star experience on the food and beverage side . He was so empathetic and we felt he really took on board what we were saying .We felt the Hotel staff, standards and service were impeccable but as hard as they worked, they were being let down by the breakfast and the restaurants. I am pleased to say that in October when we returned we were delighted that we found everything to be perfect. The change to a buffet breakfast with egg station made an enormous difference and the restaurant experience was much better. We are returning again in December. This time with our family as we are confidnet they will enjoy this experience as much as we have. Sandra helped me with the booking of multiple rooms and I have the Aurora Spa all booked . Can't wait to come back.”
