“Comfortable wide bed, good mattress and pillows, good quality linen. 2 large comfortable chairs on the balcony, with a nice view over the pool area and mountains behind Cairns. Esplanade walkable distance away for bars, restaurants. Shopping centre walkable distance too, or Cairns Aquarium. Good blackout curtains. We had a comfortable night's sleep, bar jet lag, after a very long journey. Small, thin towels. Very meagre supply of toiletries. Shower hose was missing, overhead rain shower was functional but no showercap provided. Plenty of hot water, good water pressure and bathroom clean. The toiletries and towels were the only thing to let the room down.”
