“The hotel has a pleasant rustic atmosphere while still offering good comfort. We appreciated the convenient parking behind the hotel, the air-conditioning in the room, and the small fridge provided. The European-style breakfast buffet was very good, especially the fresh garden cress, which guests could cut themselves with little scissors. The location in Dorf is also practical: there is a café, a pastry shop, and a small Spar right across from the hotel, with a bigger Spar and more restaurants about a 10-minute walk away. There were only a few small things we did not like as much. A bottle opener in the room would have been useful, and we would also have appreciated two additional glasses. Breakfast was very good overall, but the scrambled eggs were only acceptable and not quite at the level of the other items. The hot food selection was also quite limited, mainly to bacon and scrambled eggs. In Austria, many people smoke, and this also affects breakfast outside. All outdoor breakfast tables seemed to be considered smoking tables. For non-smokers, this means either sitting in cigarette smoke from the surrounding tables or sitting inside, even when the weather outside is pleasant. We would appreciate it if there were also non-smoking tables outside, clearly separated from the smoking tables, so that the smoke does not go directly to other guests.”
