“First time visit to Albania. Wonderful 4 nights. The hotel was close to the port (10to 15 mins but bus or taxi, around 20euros if you get a cab or 100 lek pp on the bus). We were given a stand alone room overlooking the sea and literally 10 yards walk to the beach (pebble). Sea is clear. The breakfast had entry of choices (nothing over fancy but very good and a wide choice). The only issue as with most of Sarande expect steep stairs or driveways down to the hotels. Not a major issue for us, but could be for some. However, taxis will drive down to reception. Hotel was very clean. Maybe missing a tea and coffee making facilities in our room , would be the only gripe . The bar next door, serves great food and drink and overlooks the sea. A lovely place to catch the sunset.”
